Design. Experimentation. Mastery. Optimization. A framework for working adults exploring transitions, career pivots, and changes in identity.
A working page, not a perfect life plan.
Choose one area you want to understand better. Keep your notes privately in a notebook or document. You do not need to submit personal details here, and the framework does not promise a particular outcome.
D / Design
Clarify what matters now.
Describe the situation you want to explore. What feels important, what constraints are real, and what would you like to understand? Write one specific question rather than a complete answer.
E / Experimentation
Make the next step small.
Choose a modest test that helps you learn about that question. State what you will try, when you will try it, and what you will observe. Treat it as an experiment you can review, rather than an irreversible commitment.
M / Mastery
Develop what supports the step.
Notice the habits, skills, and arrangements that make your chosen step more workable. Record interruptions and constraints as information. Decide which useful practice is worth repeating.
O / Optimization
Review, adapt, and refine.
Ask what you learned, what changed, what remains unclear, and what you would do differently. You may continue, adapt the experiment, or choose a different question.
Make your learning visible.
My question is… The small experiment I will try is… The conditions that would make it workable are… What I noticed was… The next adjustment I want to make is…
