A. Introduction

Welcome to The Life Architect Studio. Your privacy is a responsibility we take with the utmost seriousness. This Privacy Policy outlines our commitment to protecting your personal data and explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you visit our website, 25to55LifeDesign.com, and use our services. Our policy is designed to be transparent, written in plain English, and compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other relevant data protection laws.

B. Data We Collect and How We Collect It

We collect information to provide and improve our services to you. This data is collected in the following ways:

  • Information You Provide to Us Directly:
    • Contact Forms & Email Opt-Ins: When you request a Studio resource, choose marketing updates, or fill out a contact form, we collect your name and email address.
    • Product Purchases: When paid products become available, Flutterwave’s hosted checkout processes the payment and contact information needed for the transaction. WooCommerce stores the order and its fulfilment records. We do not store your credit card details on our servers.
    • Institutional enquiries: When you contact the Studio about educational licensing or learning partnerships, we use the organisation, audience and project information you choose to provide to respond to the enquiry.
    • Information We Collect Automatically:
      • Cookies and Similar Technologies: Like most websites, we use cookies to enhance your experience. These are small files stored on your device that help our website function. We collect data such as your IP address, browser type, and pages visited. You can manage your cookie preferences through our consent banner.
      • Analytics: We use third-party services like Google Analytics to understand how visitors interact with our website. This helps us improve our content and user experience. This data is aggregated and anonymized wherever possible.

Legal Basis for Processing: We process your data based on the following legal grounds:

        • Consent: Where you have given us clear consent to process your data for a specific purpose (e.g., subscribing to our newsletter).
        • Contract: When processing is necessary for a contract we have with you (e.g., to deliver a course you have purchased).
        • Legitimate Interests: Where processing is necessary for our legitimate interests (e.g., to prevent fraud or improve our services), provided these interests are not overridden by your rights.

          C. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used to deliver the value you expect from The Life Architect Studio. Specifically, we use it to:

          • Deliver our services, courses, and products to you.
          • Send you newsletters, updates, and marketing communications that you have consented to receive.
          • Respond to your inquiries and provide customer support.
          • Improve our website, content, and offerings through analytics.
          • Process transactions and prevent fraudulent activity.

            D. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell your personal data. We only share your data with trusted third-party service providers who help us operate our business. These include:

            • Payment processing: Flutterwave provides hosted payment processing when paid checkout is available. WooCommerce manages order records and download permissions. See Flutterwave’s privacy notice for its payment-data handling.
            • Email delivery and marketing: Sender delivers requested free-resource emails and manages separately consented brand marketing. WordPress/WooCommerce account, contact and order emails use the website’s configured transactional mail service.
            • Website Analytics: Google Analytics helps us understand website traffic.
            • Website Hosting: Our website is hosted by Hostinger.

These third parties are contractually obligated to keep your information confidential and are prohibited from using it for any other purpose.

              E. Cookies

For detailed information on the cookies we use, the purposes for which we use them, and how you can manage them, please see our dedicated Cookie Policy.

              F. Data Retention

We will only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. For example, if you subscribe to our newsletter, we will keep your email address until you unsubscribe.

              G. Data Protection

We take the security of your data very seriously. We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including:

              • SSL Encryption: Our website uses SSL/TLS encryption (you’ll see a padlock icon in your browser’s address bar), which encrypts any data you send to us.
              • Access Controls: Access to your personal data is restricted to authorized personnel who need it to perform their job.
              • Secure Third Parties: We only work with third-party providers who have a strong reputation for data security and are GDPR compliant.

                H. Your Data Rights Under GDPR

ACCOUNT PROGRESS DATA

Your dashboard record

If you choose to use the Studio dashboard, your account stores your self-reported Pattern Check status, the time of its latest update, and dates when you recorded a reflection or planning practice. Practice dates are retained in a rolling 28-day record when updated. The weekly indicator counts the last seven days; it is not a clinical, financial, or psychological score. The resource-access indicator reads the WooCommerce download permissions already associated with your account. These dashboard records are not publicly displayed or used to grant paid access. Contact the Studio using the details in this policy for an access, correction, or deletion request.

Free resource delivery and marketing

When you request a free PDF, we collect your name and email. A phone number is optional; it is not required for a download and does not opt you into SMS. We use your details to fulfil the request, maintain a free-resource order in WooCommerce, and send the requested delivery link through Sender.
Marketing email consent is optional and separate from resource delivery. If you choose it, your name and email are added to the relevant brand’s Sender group. You can unsubscribe from marketing at any time. We record the consent choice and time with the resource request. We do not send your private worksheet answers, banking information or health records to Sender.
Payment for paid products uses Flutterwave’s hosted checkout when available. The Studio does not ask you to submit bank or card details through its resource forms. Payment providers process payment information under their own privacy notices.
To request access, correction or deletion of your resource-request information, contact info@25to55lifedesign.com. Read the provider policies: Sender and Flutterwave.
