SECOND ARC WEALTH / FREE WEB GUIDE

How resilient is
your financial picture?

A private, self-guided starting point for adults aged 35–55. Use these prompts on paper; no financial details are collected on this page.

BEGIN WITH THE PICTURE YOU HAVE

Organise first.
Decide with context.

Work through one area at a time. Mark each area “clear”, “needs checking”, or “needs a conversation”. These are organisational prompts, not a validated resilience score. You do not need to upload financial records or enter account balances.
This web guide introduces the areas specified in the Second Arc Income Resilience Check. A downloadable edition and the Planner Bundle remain separate resources in development.

Income concentration

How many sources does your household depend on? Which interruption would create the greatest pressure?

Liquidity and obligations

Which funds are accessible, and which essential commitments would continue during a disruption? Record what you know and what needs checking.

Debt and fixed costs

Where are your repayment obligations recorded? Which dates, terms, or commitments need a clearer record?

Protection questions

Which health, life, disability, or business-protection arrangements should you review with an appropriately qualified professional?

Retirement and assets

Can you locate your pension, contribution, account, and investment records? What do you need to clarify about time horizons, concentration, or access?

Cost-of-living exposure

Which household commitments are most sensitive to changing prices or currency? Record questions without assuming a future outcome.

Household continuity

Would the right person know where essential documents and beneficiary records are kept? Keep account identifiers and passwords private.

Skills and future income

Which skills, work options, and responsibilities shape your future income choices? What information would make the next conversation more useful?

Three gaps.
One organised next step.

Write down the three areas you most need to understand. For each, note the missing information, the person or professional who can help clarify it, and one manageable administrative step. Revisit your notes when your circumstances change.
This guide does not recommend investments, insurance, pension arrangements, tax positions, or a particular financial product. Seek appropriate professional advice for decisions about your circumstances.
